checkedAt is the real moment this was established, not the moment you asked, so you can always tell a fresh answer from a cached one. If Discord blocked us or timed out, it is omitted from the response entirely rather than returned as registered: false.

Why teams use this

For fraud and AML teams, a thin footprint is a signal: an address with no accounts anywhere is a different risk profile from one with a decade of history. Checking Discord on its own tells you little. Checking it alongside hundreds of others in one call is what makes the signal usable.
