Full identity check API

Updated 2026-09-29

One request that checks everything a new customer gives you - their email address, phone number and the IP they signed up from - and returns the digital footprint, email, phone and IP intelligence, and one risk score that names every reason. Charged at a bundle price, below the cost of the checks run separately.

Every check, one request

Send what the customer gave you. Each part runs in parallel and comes back in one answer with its own section and score, plus an overall score across everything that fired. A full check is $0.1104 on pay as you go, down to $0.0723 on Retail Pro.

What a full check covers

Digital footprint: which of 800+ platforms the email is registered on, and which messaging apps have the phone number, plus breach history. Email: deliverable, disposable, webmail or custom domain, and how old the address is. Phone: valid, carrier, line type and whether it is an app-made VOIP number. IP: VPN, proxy, Tor and datacenter flags, network owner and location. And a risk score that adds up named signals you can tune.

Bundles: email identity, phone identity, full check

When one request runs every part of a bundle, it costs less than the parts. The email identity bundle is the footprint, email and IP checks; the phone identity bundle is the phone footprint, phone and IP checks; the full check is all of them. Prices for every plan are on the rate card, and the estimator works out a monthly bill from your volume.

Where teams use it

At signup, to stop fake and duplicate accounts before they claim a bonus (fake account detection). At onboarding in fintech, to screen out synthetic identities and mule accounts before a document check. Before a payout or a high-value order, to confirm the person is who the account says. Frequently asked questions

What is a full identity check?
A full identity check runs every Digital Footprint check on one customer in a single API request: the digital footprint of the email and phone number, email intelligence, phone intelligence and IP intelligence, combined into one risk score. It is the check most teams run at signup and before a payout.
How much does a full identity check cost?
A full check is charged at a bundle price: the sum of the checks it runs, less the plan bundle discount. The public rate card lists the bundle price on every plan, and pay as you go needs no subscription.
Can I check an email, phone and IP address in one API call?
Yes. Send email, phone and ip together to POST /v2/lookup and name the checks you want. The response has one section per check and an overall risk score across all of them, so there is nothing to merge on your side.
Do I have to run every check?
No. Every check can be switched on or off per request, and only the checks that ran are billed. Two smaller bundles are also priced below their parts: the email identity check (footprint, email and IP) and the phone identity check (phone footprint, phone and IP).
Is a full identity check a KYC document check?
No. A full identity check verifies the digital identity behind an application - whether the email, phone number and IP look like a real, established person - without collecting documents or selfies. Many teams run it before a document check, to send only the risky few through the slower, costlier step.
